Purple Sky

Filling in this slot with random updates.

1. We had a garage sale. Justin sold his bike from college. He was so sad about it he took a picture.  I see my ski boots (from high school) sold too. We netted about $100 for three hours of work. And yes, we like to sell our stuff, so no random gifts while we move every 2-3 years.

 

2. Our inspiration for one of Cora’s middle names stopped by to appease Justin and get his picture taken before he moved . I’m not sure if he knows I blog about almost everything related to the kids.

(The reason for the name inspiration: he went instead of Justin on a certain 6 month business trip because Cora was causing us trouble as posted here & here.)

 

3. People around here like to sleep. And, children like to sneak into beds.

Other people around here seem to think it’s funny. That other person must not be getting up in the middle of the night to nurse a baby (something about not having the right equipment).

 

4. Same said baby thinks it is fun to spend her time she is supposed to be sleeping, chewing on her bumper pad.

That’s ok. She’s getting so cute. And quick.

 

5. Father’s Day was fun for the kids. They had a blast decorating the cake. You would think out of the 20 pictures I took, I could find a better one than this.

 

6.  Did I mention we have a CUTIE here?

 

Who thankfully looks NOTHING like her mother did at 5 months. Well, I guess Cora could have a little more hair.

 

 

 

I wore pink yesterday and you would have thought that the sky turned purple from the way Justin was acting. Come on, I was trained to dislike anything girly from a (very) young age.

* Note: I have been trying to train Marina too. It’s not working. I don’t even know why I bother buying pants for her anymore.
